- مدينة الصالحية الجديدة هي واحدة من مدن الجيل الاول.
- أُنشأت مدينة الصالحية الجديدة بموجب قرار رئيس الجمهورية رقم 1237 لعام 1982م .
- المدينة تابعة لمركز فاقوس في الشرقية، وتعتبر المدينة نواة لمشروع استصلاح أراضي الصالحية القديمة والإسماعيلية التي تم التخطيط لها، منذ عهد الرئيس السابق جمال عبد الناصر.
- تقع المدينة في محافظة الشرقية، وتتبع إدارياً لهيئة المجتمعات العمرانية الجديدة.
موقع مدينة الصالحية الجديدة:
- تقع مدينة الصالحية الجديدة فى كردون محافظة الشرقية.
- تبعد عن مــدينة القــاهــرة 110كم، وعن مينـــاء بورسعيد 90 كم.
- تبعد عن مينــــاء دميــــاط 120 كم، وعن مينــاء السـويس 90 كم.
- تبعد عن مدينة الإسماعيلية 40 كم، وعن مدينة الزقازيق 50 كم.

تبلغ المساحة الإجمالية لمدينة الصالحية الجديدة 1617 فدان، تم توزيعها علي الشكل التالي:
- المنطقه السكنية تبلغ مساحتها 655 فدان.
- مناطق خدمات تصل مساحتها إلي 279 فدان.
- المناطق التجـارية تبلغ مساحتها 43 فدان.
- المنطقة الترفيهية تمتد على مساحة 2 فدان.
- المناطق الصناعية والمخازن تصل مساحتها إلي 638 فدان.
الخدمات في مدينة الصالحية الجديدة
يبلغ عدد مباني الخدمات بالمدينة 36 مبنى نُفذت عن طريق الهيئة، بجانب 14 مبنى نُفذ عن طريق القطاع الخاص:
- 12 مبنى تعليمي.
- 10 مباني عامة.
- 6 مباني إدارية.
- مبني واحد لمركز الشباب.
- 2 مبنى وحدة اجتماعية.
- 5 مباني سوق تجارى.
- 5 مساجد.
- سنترال واحد.
- 4 مبانى صحية وجاري بناء مبنى آخر.
المرافق و البنية الأساسية
المياه:
- تتغذى مدينة الصالحية الجديدة بمياه الشرب من محطة تنقية مياه بطاقة 22 الف م3 / يوم.
- تم إجراء توسعات بمحطة تنقية مياه المدينة لتصبح طاقتها 32 ألف م3/يوم.
- تم إنشاء الخزان العالى.
- تم إنجاز شبكات المياه بأقطار مختلفة بلغت 217,5 كم.
- تم إجراء تجديد وإحلال لشبكة مياه مدينة الصالحية المرحلة الاولى.
- تم إنشاء شبكات المياه لمنطقة الإسكان الإجتماعي لعدد 211 قطعة.
- تم إقامة 3 آبار وشبكة مياه عكرة وخلط مياه الروية لتوفير حجم 6 م3/ يوم.
- تم إجراء تجديد وإحلال لشبكة مياه مدينة الصالحية المرحلة الثانية.
- جاري إنشاء شبكات المياه لمناطق الإسكان الإجتماعي لعدد 382 قطعة.
الصرف الصحي:
- تم إنشاء محطة معالجة بطاقة 27 ألف م3/ يوم تكون على مرحلتين.
- تم إنشاء شبكات الصرف الصحى بطول 197 كم.
- تم إنشاء خطى الطرد قطر 500 م لتوصيل مياه الصرف من محطة المعالجة، بمدينة الصالحية إلى مصرف الحسينية.
- تم إنشاء شبكات الصرف بمناطق الإسكان الإجتماعي لعدد 382 قطعة.
الكهرباء:
- تم إنشاء شبكات الكهرباء بطول 661 كم.
- تم إنشاء محطة المحولات بطاقة 45 م.ف.أ
- تم رفع كفاءة أعمدة إنارة المنطقة الصناعية الاولى.
- جاري إنشاء شبكات الكهرباء لمنطقة الإسكان الإجتماعي.
- جاري إعداد مقايسة لتغيير إنارة الطريق الإقليمي.
- الطرق والإتصالات
- تم إنجاز تنفيذ شبكات طرق بمدينة الصالحية بطول 138 كم.
- تم إقامة شبكات إتصالات بطول 230 كم.
- جاري إنشاء شبكات طرق للمنطقه الجنوبية.
- جاري إجراء تعديلات علي مداخل مدينة الصالحية بالطريق الإقليمي.
الزراعة:
- تم تنفيذ بالمدينة 130 فــــدان للحــدائق العامـــة والمسطحــات الخضــراء.
- تم زراعة المسطحات الخضراء داخل المناطق السكنية.
- الصناعة
- بلغ عدد المصانع المنتجة بالمدينة 423 مصنع، باستثمار رأس مال 3,5 مليار جنيه، يصل لإنتاج سنوي 12 مليار جنيه.
- أتاح ذلك فرص عمل تقدر بـ 38000 فرصة عمل بأجور سنوية 700 مليون جنيه.
- يبلغ عدد المصانع تحت التنفيذ 15 مصنع برأس مال مستثمر يصل لـ 39 مليون جنيه، وقيمة إنتاج سنوى للمدينة تبلغ 4 مليون جنيه، ستوفر فرص عمل تصل لـ 1200 فرصة عمل بأجور سنوية 30 مليون جنيه.
قطاع الإسكان
- يبلغ إجمالي عدد الوحدات بمدينة الصالحية الجديدة 12547 وحدة.
- يبلغ عدد الوحات التي تمت عن طريق الهيئة 626 وحدة.
- يبلغ عدد قطع أراضي الإسكان 1227 التي تمت عن طريق القطاع الخاص والأهالي.
- يبلغ إجمالي عدد أراضي الإسكان الإجتماعي 88 قطعة أرض.
- أما بالنسبة لعدد السكان، العدد الحالي يبلغ 60 ألف نسمة.
- يبلغ عدد السكان المستهدف 70 مليون نسمة عام 2027م.
- قطاع الاستثمار
بلغ إجمالي الاستثمارات بمدينة الصالحية 837,7 مليون جنيه:
- في قطاع المرافق 145,5 مليون جنيه.
- في قطاع النقل والمواصلات 159 مليون جنيه.
- في قطاع الخدمات 120 مليون جنيه.
- في قطاع الإسكان 8 مليون جنيه.
- في قطاع الزراعة 21 مليون جنيه.
- في قطاع الكهرباء 93,3 مليون جنيه.
- يبلغ إجمالي الاستثمارات في قطاع تطوير الأداء وتجهيزات الإدارة العامة بالمدينة 21 مليون جنيه.
